JAWS 3D: 'D' is for Dumb!

    Jaws 3 was originally pitched to Universal as a spoof of Jaws.  Spielberg threatened to walk away from the studio if this idea was accepted, so naturally, the idea was killed.  Ironically, a spoof is EXACTLY what this movie turned out to be….unintentionally, of course. 

   You’ll watch this movie on TV and think “what in the name of God kind of effect is THAT??”  The movie was made in 3D for the theatre, and obviously these effects do not translate well.  Unfortunately, they make the movie look like one huge blooper.  It’s hard to watch this movie with any kind of fear, and it’s hard to see the shark as anything other than the stuffed toy it really is. 

  Awful movie.
