Let your party rock with the glam and glitz of a casino night out. Parties these days are quite dull and boring without a theme. What can be more interesting than a casino theme? This theme would suit most age groups as well, if your guest list is varied. It is sure to even grab the attention of those who have never been to a casino.

You can start with some unique invitations for the night out. The invitations can be made in the shape of hearts, spades, clubs or diamonds to match the theme. When it comes to the decoration of the party space, even a few simple things can help recreate the casino look. What you can do is shop at your local store to get some dice and poker chips. Get a green colored table cloth and scatter the dice and the poker chips on it. Glitter can be added to increase the impact an extra notch. You can also buy some casino themed card holders to be placed on the game table with the guest’s name written on each.

You could use some colored lights such as red, green, blue, etc to lend a Vegas neon lights look to your party venue. Some glitzy party banners can change the feel of the entire place. You can also rent a roulette wheel to add to the glamour of the casino theme. There are a variety of casino theme games, which can be organised with ease. Two of the more popular ones are:

Play online: You could all sit around your laptops and play at a Casino online. Sign up for a bingo or a poker room and play against each other!

Beat The Dealer: ‘Beat the dealer’ is actually played one by one in turn with the dealer. The dealer picks a single card and turns it. The player has to predict whether the next card will be bigger or smaller than that card. The game ends with the incorrect guess. The one with maximum right consecutive guesses wins the game.

High rolling Two-Up: This is a very simple but extremely interesting casino theme game. The game does not require much of a set up. All you need to do is get two coins and a flat long wooden piece. You must have a sufficiently open area to play this game. The dealer flips these two coins using this piece of wood. The player predicts whether the coins will land on tails or heads or one of each. The correct guess of tail-tail pair or a head-head pair doubles the money of the player whereas a correct head-tail guess can increase the player’s money by four times.

These games can be quite fun, regardless of whether you win or lose. Other games that can be tried are poker, bingo, craps and blackjack. In fact it doesn’t take much to create a Vegas-style party. To add a little spice you could also club it with a costume party. Guests can come dressed as casino owners or hostesses. Hire a singer who can complete the Las Vegas theme and let your guests' rock on through the night.
